Ouch. I was hoping to be more selective. As I mentioned, there are quite a few QSO's for which I do not expect a QSL. I do not want to waste on-line resources for these.

Looks like the only way around this is to edit my file before uploading. Oh well, at least this can be done off-line.

Many thanks for the coaching.

Thanks for your insights. I had thought about that. I have about 250 e-QSL's to go through (some predating my computer log). My first upload to LoTW (just recently done) had a little under 1800 QSO's. Still, your suggestion may be the only practical way to go about it in a wholesale manner.

The moral here is keep up-to-date with QSLing.

A follow-up question is, "If I use the up-date method of clearing my in-box, will a QSL card be generated automatically?" My goal in all of this (for the main part) is to respond to e-QSL's for those who prefer this way of QSLing.

I'm an old dog (first licensed in 1962), and this is a new trick. Hi, hi.

I am just starting on e-QSL and have a couple hundred QSL's in my In Box. Other than going one-by-one, is there a way for my computer logger (WinLog32) to "shake hands" with the e-QSL data base so as to respond only to those who have sent me a QSL?

I could upload my log to e-QSL as I have to LoTW, but there would be a lot of QSO's for which I do not expect a QSL, e.g., various CW sprints and the like. Month after month, I contact the same hams. I don't need to confirm these kinds of contacts.

Suggestions, please.
