Promoting eQSLs to ham organizations » ARRL LOTW & acceptance of eQSL Jul 15, 2008 10:15 PM (Total replies: 23)

Quote: I have heard from a few eQSL members who have submitted eQSLs that were printed on card stock in a stack of other 'traditional' cards. Since they could not distinguish them from other cards, they got the credits. Your mileage may vary. Their so-called 'security concerns' are bogus. This is not banking. It's a hobby.

Dave, I have asked that same question on QRZ and had several different answers. I do not see how they could actually catch the eQSL card, heck, they all look just alike when they are printed off a computer, and if the same design is used for eQSL and a paper card (both are *real* QSL cards), there is NO possible way to tell the difference that I can see.

And if you really wish to check, contact the other party and they will confirm you are in the log.... as long as they didn't say "eQSL" {grinning}

You have a very good system here Dave and I for one really appreciate your efforts.

eAward Suggestions » It is time to introduce a non-AG certiciate program ? Jul 15, 2008 10:07 PM (Total replies: 31)

I think what the original poster is referring to is a way to see what states have been worked based on the "OUT" box - Nothing to do with awards... perhaps the use of the word "certificate" was the wrong one to use.... just a summary of states/countries worked based on the out box. That would please me.

Thanks for all the good work and a GREAT site.

Hello, first of all, thank you for a GREAT site.

Now, I was living in Mobile county, Alabama for several years. A few months ago I moved across the bay to Balwin county. I came to eQSL and changed my address not even thinking about the grid square or county. Just now I realized those have been wrong for the last few months. I was thinking when I changed the address, the grid sq and county would take care of itself? Or maybe just not thinking HI HI.

I understand I will need to create a new account reflecting the new address, grid sq and county? What about the contacts made while I was in Balwin county over the last 3 or 4 months? Not all that many, less than a 100 I'm sure.

Is there anyway to set the begin date and end date to allow those contacts credit to Balwin county?

Thank you for any help,

Support - English speaking » multi accounts Jun 28, 2008 03:25 AM (Total replies: 0)

Hello, I have two accounts, one for home, and one for the farm. This seems to prevent me from uploading direct from DM780 program - I get the error msg:

Error: Multiple accounts match eQSL_User/eQSL_Pswd for date 20080628 03:08
Submitted OK
Logbook updated, status 1

when I check the inbox, nothing as been added - How can I remove the Farm account? I had detached it, but that did not help.

This requires me to export a ADI file, then import - yea, that works, but I'm lazy!! HI HI

Thank you for a wonderful site.
