I have a GREAT IDEA ( I think) ...Why don't we let the powers to be ,who would be grading these contests, carry on with UPDATING,Verifying, and passing out eAWARDS for all those who are "trying" to achieve them... Once again I think it is a great IDEA ...we definitely do not want to s-l-o-w down the wheels of progress.... now on the other hand; a free-for-all contest, with which you speak ,would be an appealing concept IF it was easily scored."Andy" has a nice scoring method. How would we (the members) be able to readily score this contest with out pulling from the committees schedules? Hmmm..... Ideas?? VE3DRT Tim Durnford

for those who are not sure what I'm speaking of.... go to my link here on eqsl.cc for my public profile page ...ALL my contacts except 4 have been thru a Satellite contact either AO-51 AO-07 So-50 or AO-27 http://www.eQSL.cc/Member.cfm?VE3DRT mouse over the different bargraphs... you will see a sizeable difference in the numbers ...I hope this clears it up ....a little. I should be more specific: I have 71 AG Grid squares in my outbox....I have 17 in my eAwards for eGRID.... just wondering what is the reason for the siz able difference... or is it that the committee has yet to verify the contacts?? VE3DRT Tim Durnford

I'm a little confused as to why there is such a big difference between the actual amount of grid squares I uploaded to eqsl and the amount in my eGRIDS eAwards section ,could someone please verify or give me an indication as to what I'm doing Wrong(different) so that I can use or do something different(Right) VE3DRT Tim Durnford |
