SWLs » stations not being listed on eqsl Apr 15, 2006 11:54 AM (Total replies: 3)

hiya everyone nice to be back here today, i was just wondering being abit of a newbe here, that i have loged 38 reports but only 4 of them show as members.is this normal or am i taking there station prefix down wrong or something.i find it frustrating to spend hours listning and logging station numbers to only find none are listed.i know not every single station would be a member but this being the biggest and oldest eqsl site, i would think there where a higher percentage of users.dont get me wrong i love our hobby, but is it me or is it the norm.if it is me can anyone pass they experiance on to me , as how i can make less mistakes. happy listning to you all , 73,s ww26 swl

SWLs » QSL card for SWL ? Apr 15, 2006 11:48 AM (Total replies: 23)

fair points from both of you as a swl ,i send eqsl,s to stations like yours but in sure my qsl card states that im a swl, but i havent put it in my text on the report. i think i should to make it obviouse to the station im sending it to.as replying and how just conferm you where on that band that day and time , and thank the swl for his time for sending a report to you , thats i everwant.they are as important to us as to you,it proves we hear far away stations , even if we cant chat to them. 73,s ww26.swl

SWLs » new swl Mar 23, 2006 12:43 PM (Total replies: 12)

hello to all, im new here so please forgive me asking loads of questions about this hobby. i run a realistic dx 302 old but a good set , and my much loved grundig yb 400 pe ,the grundig isnt man enough for big arials it overloads it and it suffers from bleed over , but its a good set for general stuff or to take outside. the dx 302 is alot better and more suited to long wire and dipole ,use .anyway any usefull info or just sugestiong on arials and bolt ons like filters or amps would be good .and what ever happened to 27.555 usb ? i cant hear a thing but used to listen on there a few years ago.any ideas. 73,s to you all .
