Getting more eQSLs » Increasing the percentage of Eqsl Return ? Apr 18, 2006 05:55 PM (Total replies: 41)

What would be interesting is if the system did an automatic match with other users QSO files so that you would not have to wait for negligent members to check their inboxes. Is this possible?

Getting more eQSLs » Increasing the percentage of Eqsl Return ? Apr 11, 2006 10:32 AM (Total replies: 41)

Quote: I am averaging about 60% return for my Eqsl's .. Would sure appreciate any "Tips" to increase the rate of return.. I don't understand why return rate is so low, after all it is free ... How many times is it appropriate to notify a DX station that you sent an Eqsl ??? tnx 73 George

WOW! 60% is a pretty good return rate. I don't think I ever had that high a return rate using paper QSLs.

Support - English speaking » Changing eQSL card graphic. Apr 2, 2006 08:14 PM (Total replies: 25)

When you change the graphic or update the text on your own eQSL card, will it take effect only for eQSLs sent from that point forward, or will it change on all eQSLs sent from your account it the past also?

Getting more eQSLs » Sked Requests - how old? Apr 2, 2006 04:22 PM (Total replies: 2)

How far back should I delete Sked Requests that are obviously old. I know the system automatically matches up Sked Requests based on my profile, but many of them go all the way back to 2002. It apprears that some members post these without cleaning out old requests later. I would like to pursue requests, but would rather not waste my time with what appear to be inactive members. How far back should I delete old requests? What would you all recommend from your experience.

I have only been using eQSL for a short time with 54 outgoing eQSLs. My return rate for all eQLSs is 22%. For eQSL members the return rate is 38%. Of course the rate for AG folks is somewhere in between. I actually joined because of a QSO with an overseas member who said he used the service. However, he is not AG. Is it harder for non US or Canada folks to get AG status? Anyway, those are my results. I would recomend mentioning the QSO that you use eQSL because notifying them later may be difficult or impossible.
