I would like to use DisplayLastUploadDate.cfm as described in https://www.eqsl.cc/qslcard/DisplayLastUploadDate.txt to automatically determine if a user is an active eqsl.cc user.
My use case is a program I am writing to do some county hunting, and since eqsl is accepted by CQ for credit, I prefer to work stations that participate in eqsl.
When I try of another station, say AC8GT, https://www.eqsl.cc/qslcard/DisplayLastUploadDate.cfm?Username=AC8GT if I am logged in, I get my last upload information, not his. If I am not logged in, I get "Error: No user defined".
Can anyone tell me what I am doing wrong?
Thanks, Mark W8GU

Several years ago, Bob Adams, W8GU, became a silent key. Two years later I was lucky enough to get his callsign.
I have been an eqsl user ever since. And ever since I started using the system, I am presented with a window in which I select either Bob's account, or mine (Mark Sladen). My friends who do not have a "reused" vanity callsign from a SK are not presented with this window.
Since I am sure that the real Bob Adams will never be logging into the system again, I was wondering if there was a way to declare his account closed so I would not have to take this additional step to log in.
Please do not do this if it risks the status of my W8GU account. I really don't want to lose those QSL's... but if there is a procedure to do so, could you please close Bob's account.
Thanks
