| Hello from Chiba, Japan!
I’m Ichitaro, operator of amateur radio station 7N4FZY.
My creative activities include audio recording and editing, 3DCG production, and the design of virtual environments for the metaverse. I enjoy using sound and digital technology to create spaces and experiences that connect people. Amateur radio is another fascinating way for me to communicate beyond physical distance and virtual boundaries.
I am currently building my on-air experience with an ICOM ID-52PLUS 5-watt handheld transceiver. With every QSO, I enjoy learning more about radio operation, propagation, equipment, and communication with operators in different places.
I am especially interested in the intersection of amateur radio, audio technology, 3DCG, digital communication, and virtual worlds. The character featured on my profile and QSL design is “Ichikon-chan.”
