Hi all.

Has something changed to the first page? I see one of the buttons is out of position and covers up part of the latest news.

That's not really that bad; but I have to type in my password every time again. This started happening a couple of days ago...

Thanks for checking.

Something strange has obviously happened. Ever since I joined eQSL some three years ago I have logged in using Opera's Wand - and excellent and easy way of logging in. Now, from yesterday, I find this method takes me to the 'unregistered callsign' page and then to the second login page. I can only log in from a blank homepage and manually typing in both callsign and password. The details stored in my Opera Wand settings are correct, and I even deleted and reentered them with no change.

Just noticed that when I get rerouted to the second login page (as against the homepage) I can log in there with the Wand OK!

I guess Dave has changed some of the javascript on that page to cause this. When I mentioned sometime ago that I used Opera for my (one and only) browser he said it was not specifically supported because so few people use it. Rather more than he thinks maybe...

Strangely enough, this turned out to be due to a hyperlink in the Site News. When Site News is displayed on the main home page, it is truncated at a random point. It was apparently truncating the text before the Anchor HTML tag was closed, resulting in the entire rest of the page being hyperlinked, and causing all sort of nesting problems. I took out all the hyperlinks in that news item, and it's working fine again. Thanks for noticing!

Of course, that's just my opinion... I could be wrong!

Thanks, just logged in now and everything is now back to normal. Obviously a strange fault, I looked at the source code and everything looked perfectly innocent!
