I have worked several YN2 contacts, yet they do not show up in the Nicaragua country, although they do show up in my total of outbox?? This happenns also with some East Europpean countries not showing in their country i.e. an OM prefix shows in my outbox but not his country. A lot of other "non" members show up in their correct country, so I dont believe its because they are a non member.

I did some further checking and it does MOSTLY look like the countries count are the ones that eqsl has actually sent cards to from my log?? But, also I have worked several countries with a slash i.e. yn2/w2xxx or w2xxx/yn2 these do not seem to calculate correctly, what is the proper method of entering such a call for to count as a country other than the usa?? what is the differance of a call being NOTIFIED versus being actually sent an eqsl card??

James, Most of the hams using those calls will probably not register them as accounts with eQSL for quite a while if ever (although some do). You should log those QSOs the same way the other ham called CQ. This way, if those accounts are ever made and those QSOs are ever uploaded, you will get confirmation for the contacts. If they said "this is yn2/w2xxx" you should log it that way. This is the way I hear most of the hams say those calls. Hope this helps. 73 Andy - n1ork
