When P5ABC registers his callsign, we want evidence that it is really a North Korea station, not a teenager in California playing on the computer.

Authenticity Guaranteed is a way of proving that you are who you say you are. That's all. If we could use your driver's license or passport, and if it had your callsign on it, that would be OK.

Expired licenses are OK. Just because they are expired does not change your identity.

Text files, MS Word files, and homemade licenses do not prove your identity and are not valid.
An FCC Reference Copy downloaded off the web does not prove your identity and is not valid.
Scanned copies of QSL cards are not valid.
Photos of you are not valid.

There are other ways we can check your identity. See here: http://www.eqsl.cc/qslcard/Authenticity.cfm

Of course, that's just my opinion... I could be wrong!

Hi Dave, how do i check on the status of the confirmation card that was supposed to be sent to me containing the authorization code?
I would like to become AG, but i am still waiting on the card so i can enter the code.

Thanks...Adam, N7YA

Hi Dave

Vince here, I'm in between Licences, I just had my 5wpm exam on Feb. 1 2006. Can I give you alink to my qualifications or would you rather me send a copy of my new licence? or is my first one enough? Thanks in advance.

I'm new to eqsl. I hope I'm not beating a dead horse but I just wanted to find out if eqsl's are being accepted for awards such as ARRL's DXCC?

I tried nto scan my Fcc License but it came out too big and I could not reduce the size. So I went the postal route and funded my account $5.00. My question is this, What happens when I get this post card? What is the next step or shall i just wait and follow instructions when it comes. What is the normal "turn-around 'time?

Jeff,
I believe the post card gives you a code and a location to input it at the eQSL.cc site. When that is done, you will be AG.
As for turn around time, I'm not sure. There's the snail mail round trip time and the time it may take to verify what you sent them. Even electronicly, it took me a week to get AG'd.
Hope this helps.
