I have accidentally detached my /P call sign from my profile and was told that that would not be a problem as I could enter the nickname in the box provided and the /P would be reattached. I have tried to do this but I keep getting an error message. I've logged in and logged out but that does not change things. I will try rebooting my computer but that seems an odd way to rectify the problem.
