Can any help with this:
When downloading from the Archive I don't get an ADIF file downloaded to my PC.

What I get is a lot of web-pages with the raw data shown no downloaded ADIF file.

Can any help with a procedure having the eQSL confirmed qso's downloaded from the Archive to my PC so I can update my DX4WIN logging software whith these data.

Best regards
Peter

Peter,
Are you using the link on the bottom of the Archive page that says: 'Download entire InBox in ADIF format'? That will take you to another page where you should select the '.ADI File' link. You should then save that file to a convenient location to load it into your logger.
Hope this helps, 73

Hello Andy,

As far I see I follow your instructions.

When I click on the .ADI file on the web-page 'Download entire InBox in ADIF format' following is shown on the webpage (see copy below).

The system requested to limit the search since a entire search gave more than
10000 replies. To do this I have limited the so only 7062 was selected.

I had anticipated that the system would make an ADI file which I can save on
the PC?

What went wrong?

I have downloaded the confirmed qsl info from LoTW, and in that system an ADI file was generated which I saved on the PC and imported to DW4WIN.

Best regards
Peter

Peter,
This is the same file type that I get. It is an ADIF file that I can import to my logger without a problem. I am using ACLog not DX4WIN. I would compare both ADIF files that you got from LOTW and eQSL side by side using a text reader to see what the difference in format is.
Good luck!

Andy,

Thank you for the answer.

However, the file saved as an .ADI file can't be imported to DX4WIN, sorry. DW4WIN does not show the file as an .ADI file that can be selected. The file downloaded from LoTW is shown as a file that can be selected.

I will consult the DW4WIN forum to see if any there has experienced the same problem.

Will let you know the result of my search.

Best regards
Peter

I'm not sure this will help but I found a converter called Convert ADIF to DX4WIN DXQ on http://dx4win.ad1c.us/adif2dxq/index.htm .

Opps - you are probably using this since it is on the DX4WIN site - sorry. I thought it was a different utility.
