I've been using HRD to log my JT65A contacts.... Its worked for weeks, now suddenly, when I try to upload qso's, it says bad mode.... any ideas?

I think eQSL does not accept a mode of "JT65A", to log those QSO's you need to list the mode as "JT65".
I also use HRD to log my JT65A QSO's and they upload to eQSL with no problem, but when I check the HRD logfile I see that they are all listed as mode JT65. 73, ~Dave VA3KAB VA3KAB David Bell |

There is a problem with the JT65 modes. If I upload a log containing JT65 modes with appended submodes, then eQSL will change the mode to JT65. When I download the eQSL log in ADIF and when I try to merge it with my locally stored ADIF log, there will not be any match on JT65 QSO's because the eQSL log coming from eQSL does not contain the submode but the locally log (which has bean uploaded to eQSL) contains the submode.
In my opinion, it was not a great idea to suppress the submode on eQSL. Best 88 de Claude DJ0OT Claude Frantz |

Can you do a bulk edit on your ADIF file to convert all instances of JT65A to JT65A before doing the merge? Actually I guess you would need to replace all instances of "MODE:5>JT65A" with "MODE:4>JT65"
