I was issued a new vanity callsign in 2005. However the previous owner has that callsign registered on eQsl. I've send numerous requests to the eQsl support folks but never get any response. I even tried to email the previous owner to see if he could get back into the eQsl account and change it so I could access it. But I still cannot get this rectified. Any suggestions on where to go from here? Its been weeks.....

Can you tell us what your vanity call is? Is it k3re? I see you are still registered as n3cta in eQSL and this call does not appear in QRZ.com. K3RE was registered to a Bob Lee from MD and his account ran: Effective dates at this QTH: 01 Jan 1970 00:00 to 08 Oct 2010 00:00. One would think you should be able to use that call in eQSL after the date of 10/8/2010. I assume you have used the 'Help!' links here and on your home page to send an email to the Admins. From what I hear, those emails are pretty backed up and the Admins don't answer on the forums here very often. Have you tried to post your issue on the 'OnLineQSL' Yahoo user group? Some times Dave N5UP answers there.
Not much help, but at least you know someone reads these.

Yes my vanity calls is K3RE. I have tried to manage K3RE in N3CTA account but the dates won't watch up. However I will try again using a date later than 10/08/2010

Wow - that did it. I changed the start date to 10/09/2010 and it worked. Thank You so much. Now I guess I can just delete the N3CTA account and I'm golden.

DON'T delete the n3cta account! If you have eQSL confirmations, you can link the two accounts together. That way they will both count toward your eAwards. OOPs! looks like you already deleted it. I think you can get it back as long as you can log into it with the original password.
