I have received e-qsl's and normally there is a red cross and a green tick at the side of them to either delete or acknowledge them, I have received several without the green tick, does this mean it has already been automatically sent from my logging program HRD DM780?

Harry,
You are correct. If your InBox has eQSLs without those red and green indicators, it means that you must have uploaded the QSO and it has been automatically confirmed. All you need to do is Archive it.
