Please forgive me if this is the wrong place to post this question as it seems to be the only one I can post to. I have need to retrieve the information in my incoming eQSL file on eQSL, at the bottom of the list is the intruction that you may download your info in either "text file" or "ADIF file". I have tried twice to download this file only to find that, even though I have clicked on "ADIF file", That it is in fact a text file. I have tried to look at the page in length to make sure I am not missing something, I have scanned the help files that I can access, but to no avail. Please would some kind person put me right. May I thank you for taking the time to read this post. 73 de Noel, G4AVN.

when I download adif from eqsl, to send to arrl, it works fine. It is still text, but run together. I guess it is more compact. Anyway I then go through the tqsl business and uplaod it and ARRL/LOTW accepts it OK. Good luck! Karl

Hello
An ADIF file is a text file formatted with special tags. These tags follow the ADIF specification. The incoming eQSLs are suitable for loading into your log program. A better approach is to upload all your QSOs into your eQSL outbox and downloading the confirmations with your log program. Ham Radio Deluxe handles this type of operation very well.
