I'm needing to make some text changes and add some graphics to my Style 4 eQsl design. I'm not able to figure out just how to do that. If I use the defaults on the screen and click on an item it does an "overlay" on what I already have on the design.

I'm sure it is quite simple, but I've not been able to get to the baseline of that custom design.

Hi Nolan,

Did you manage to figure it out? I just had a look at your card and it looks good to me. If not, tell us exactly what you are trying to do and we can give some advice.

Dave,

Nope. I'm not able to make any modifications to the card that you see. I built that card many years ago and am having to make some changes to the text (e-mail and some other things).

I'm guessing I could scrub the whole card and start over from scratch, but that is a pain.

Ok, I just had another look. It seems that all of the text information and graphics, with the exception of the AG logo, is actually part of the .jpg you uploaded, is that correct?

Typically you would use style 3 in that case, style 3 assumes that the graphic already contains all the information you want on the card, with the exception of QSO details.

Style 4 assumes a graphic with no text, and you can use the style 4 to add the text you want in the location you want it, but you cannot edit text that was part of the original graphic.

Dave,

AHA!! You just jogged my aging gray matter and I did a search under my MS Publisher file folder and found a file that I called "eQSL". Opened it up and there it was/is. I built the card in Publisher and just uploaded the entire file.

I can easily make changes there and upload again.

Thanks for shaking my gray matter loose!!

I can overlay the AG logo and possibly the SKCC logo as well once I get it at the eQSL site.

Thanks again.

Dave,

Made my changes and uploaded the updated image for the eQSL.

Tnx for the memory jog.

Dave,

How does the eQSL card in the forum avatar location get changed? Does it cycle through on some 24-hour clock basis when it then sees a change in one's card?

You need to re-upload, have a look at the Profile link at the top of this page, you will see where you need to upload the avatar.

Dave,

What about the eQSL card that shows up as the default? I've never loaded an avatar on this forum and I did see where to do so.

If I don't load an avatar it appears the forum utilizes one's eQSL card.

How often does the forum application refresh that image?

On the left side of the tool select the item you want to change. Once you have done that, at the top of the right side of the tool you will see what the current settings are.

Use the tool to select the alignment, font size, colour, etc., then press 'save and exit'.

This is what I believe I did but to no avail.

Not sure what I am doing wrong.

Was able to change my address colour but not my name?
