My eQSLs from W7FEN are not identified as AG. So I checked with him and he claims he got AG certified over a year ago. What's up?

Hi,
I'm not sure why you think he is not AG, he certainly is. Go to your archive and do a search for W7FEN. When you do that you will see all the QSOs you made with him, and you will also see a 'Y' in the AG column which tells you that he has AG status. You can also click on that 'Y' to see his AG certificate.
