Hello dear,
Just for ask how incorporate a new mode in E-QSL.cc.
The mode is SIM here you can see the technichal information http://www.on4nb.be/sim_description_fr.htm
This mode is new there is submode SIM31 and SIM63.
SIM was born in September 2012, it begins to have more and more users.
Which is the procèdure to recognize it by EQSL
Thank you F1ABL Michel

Normally we wait until a new mode is adopted by the ADIF committee. The ADIF committee is mostly made up of the authors of the various logging programs, so the fastest way to get a new mode added is to ask the author of your logging program to bring it up to the other ADIF committee members.

David,
Thank you for the answer, recently you added the mode JT9 in EQSL.
It seems that it is not approved by the commitee ADIF.
I do not see it in the ADIF Version 3.0.2
In Lotw it is managed as a mode "DATA".
I thought that it was simply necessary to make a request beside the administrator of EQSL.
Thank you again for your precision, I think that the group SIM is going to study the question of validation ADIF

Hi Michel,

We made an exception in the case of JT9 because we received many, many requests from users wanting us to add it. We normally will not do that because we don't know exactly what the ADIF guys will decide to do as far as the mode field in the ADIF file goes; if we define it a certain way and then they decide to call it something different we end up with a lot of bad data in our database.

So far you have been the only one that has requested SIM as far as I know.

The new draft proposal for ADIF will include JT9 and also OPERA. It is not finalized yet and not publicly available. If you can get the authors of SIM to lobby the ADIF committee, maybe they will add it to the current draft.

David,

Yes I am the only one that ask this, some stations logged it like a mode PSK (it is the same protocole) in EQSl because it is not recognized.

It is a young mode, now we are more and more stations who use Sim and perhaps that you go to receive some requests Hi.

Thanks for all, I see that with the developpers of SIM.
