Whenever I get an EQSL from a Non AG station, I archive it along with the rest. Although it doesn't count today, if the Non AG station upgrades to AG at some time in the future, will that Eqsl then be counted towards awards?
And what about stations that do not belong to Eqsl today but join later on?

Yes, as soon as the other station gets AG, all of the eQSLs he has sent in the past will have AG and will count for eAwards.

Same with stations that are not currently eQSL members. I send out eQSLs to everyone I work, don't bother checking if they are members or not. Often I will receive eQSLs for QSOs I made years ago, from someone that has decided to join and has uploaded all their logs.

I just got one last week from a QSO I had back in 2007! Always nice to see :)

Ditto's here too Dave!
Sometimes I go a step further for the hams that aren't members yet. I go to QRZ.com, search for the call I worked and see if they list an email. I then use eQSL to send them an email telling them how many QSOs they may have waiting and ask them to join eQSL also. Don't know how effective this is, but I figure every bit helps.

I dont know why so many dont make the small effort to get AG status, its not hard to do!? It waters down eQSL I Ddnt know how one could gently get Non AG to go AG without scaring them off.
I keep Non AG, its kinda like buying a Lotto ticket :)

If you click on their callsign it brings up the email form and on the left hand sign there are choices for canned emails, one of which is the one asking them to get AG status to help you.

It's pretty clear to me that this is canned so it seems less selfish than a self-composed message. It also reminds the non-AG that his OSLs don't count either.

Anyway, it's worked for me. Not 100%, but it works.

Perhaps the procedure to become AG is not clear. This is my case. Just need a little help. Also, uploaded my log from QRZ and can't figure out how to view it in eQSL.
Thank you K5TIA

Just click on the AG link at the right side of the home page, direct link is: http://www.eqsl.cc/qslcard/authenticity.cfm

Best method is uploading a licence scan or via LOTW if you are registered. Postcard works but takes a very long time because it goes into the print queue along with all the eQSL cards members are getting printed out.

Any log you upload you can find in your outbox, http://www.eqsl.cc/qslcard/OutBoxSelector.cfm

Sent the pic of the license. The download of the QRZ log eventually showed. eQSL doesnot automatically notify the other party that I am trying to get them to confirm a contact? Can I set it up that way? If I continue to log in QRZ, how do I update merge the two logs?
Thank you. K5TIA

If the other ham has elected to get emails when they get an eQSL, they will get notified via the email address in their profile.

Thanks for the tip about sending the canned email to encourage people to get AG status. I am pretty new to this, I have got the eDX award and worked about 25 states and it is maddening to work a state or country that I need only to find that they do not have AG status. I work mostly PSK-31 and my SK macro has a statement indicating that I send eQSL (AG) QSL.
