I'm just new here and I received some EQSL @ my inbox. When I'm going to print my received EQSL cards it seems to be that the side portion was nont included. First I view it in a 4x6 printable size. And when I print it out the EQSL card there is a cut of font that is cut or not print..Please help me how to print the EQSL card in full 4x6 size.

Thanks,

Jhun - DV1VGN

Make sure when you try to print it, that you set your PAGE SETUP for the printer to be 4x6 or A6 postcard size. You might also have to print it sideways, depending on your setup. You will have to play with your margins and also tell your browser NOT to print the page name, URL, date, page number, and all that other junk on the page.

For my printer, a Canon Pixma iP4000, I have a special Profile set in the printer properties, but I still have to change my page setup in the browser.

Of course, that's just my opinion... I could be wrong!

Hi Guys

I have another question about the e-qsl's......I'm new when it comes to qsl cards. How would I display them? Glue to thin cardboard like a postcard? or in photo sleeves? Just curious, I would like to post them on the wall in my shack.....or do most people keep them in a photo albums?

Thanks Vince

When I view the eQSL I save the eQSL as a jpg file using the "Save file icon" in the upper left hand corner of the eQSL. I then reopen the file in a photo program and make the necessary resolution adjustments (96 pixels per inch) and demensions (518x348). These settings work on my printer for landscape 4x6 with tab and 4x6 without tab. To see what your printer will print on a 4x6 photopaper. Use your photo program. make a blank photo 4x6 inches and enter abcd... across the ltngth of the blank photo and 123... from top to bottom. Then do a print set up and print. After it is printed, by counting the letters and numbers printed and croping the picture to that size you can determine the actual pixel size your eQSL needs to be before printing. Works ok for me and I put some of the printed eQSL's in a 4x6 picture album sheets.
