I believe it was eQSL's acceptance of the new JT9 mode that may have helped push the ARRL's LoTW to accepting it as well. I now have actual credit for all my JT9 QSO's I have made. I have to ask though, when the new JT9 mode will be added to the awards available on eQSL? There is PSK, RTTY, SAT, UHF, CW and JT65, why not JT9? I would love to see all the awards that are available to those modes, also be available with the ever increasing popular JT9 mode. Will this soon be available?

Thanks for your time

We might add it to eWAS at some point, that would be where it would go first.

There are two issues:

It only makes sense to add a specific mode endorsement for an award if there is enough activity to justify that award endorsement. We added JT65 endorsements to eWAS and later some of the other eAwards because I was seeing many eWAS applications come in with JT65 as the mode being used for most, if not all, the QSOs. I haven't seen many with JT9 yet.

Awards checking takes time and we have a limited number of volunteers doing awards checking. Someone mentioned in another thread adding more endorsements to ePFX300, that will probably not happen anytime soon, there are tons of ePFX300 applications every day as it is and it takes time to check each application, so adding more endorsements to ePFX300 is doubtful at this time.

Having said that I am open to adding more to eWAS at some point, and JT9 will be considered when the time comes. Personally I would like to see a HELL endorsement for eWAS first.
