Up to this point I have confirmed all eQSLs in my INBOX manually. I have never entered manually or otherwise any contacts, just confirms of entries by other hams. As I understand it, I can upload the ADIF file created by the logging program I use and confirmations plus new entries will take place automatically. However, if I upload the entire ADIF file at this point in time will it duplicate entries that have already been confirmed? If that's the case do I just upload those entries that are newer then the last manual confirmations I have done?

Tom,
If you upload your entire file, exact duplicates should be marked as errors and not entered. Depending on the logging program you are using, uploads could be automatic. so you should not have to confirm manually. Once done, you can run a duplication check on your outbox. Depending on the size of the ADIF file, you may want to try and only upload the newer contacts. New confirmations will be automatic. 73! N1ORK Orest 'Andy' Zajac |
