How do I find out how many votes my QSL card has received? I can find votes for cards I've received, but I can't find mine.

Thanks,

. . . John (WA3CAS)

Hi John

So far, you have 11 votes, including mine.
How do I know ? because we had a qso and I just voted for your card.
Otherwise, unless you are already in the qsl gallery ...> 30 votes, (http://www.eqsl.cc/qslcard/CardFavorites.cfm)
I don't think there's any place you can look at....

The problem is the cards don't show up in the "Vote for your Favorite Card" list until they get assigned a category. There is an internal list where that happens, any card that has more than seven votes shows up, but then category needs to be assigned.

There are 100's of cards sitting there waiting, I go in and do a few whenever I get a chance, but I'm really busy answering support emails and doing award approvals, so only manage to do a few every week, and of course every week more show up.

Andy, would you be interested in taking this on? Might be a good fit.

So Dave, If all this entails is me going into the 'Assign favorite card categories - Admin Favorite eQSL Designs' to the eQSL cards that are listed and assign them to a category, that is something I could help out with. Please let me know if I'm on the right track here.

P.S.
I can see the obvious categories, but are there guide lines for some of the others, or is it just 'Best Guess'?

That's the place Andy :)

They show up on that list as soon as they get seven votes or more, and as soon as they are assigned a category they will show up in the Community->vote for your favorite card list. Some of them are tough to find a specific category for, so just put it wherever it seems to fit the best.

Thanks! :)

To answer your P.S., yes, sometimes best guess is the only approach. We have no way of adding new categories.
