Hi,
Please can someone explain meaning of yellow background "country needed" in the country column of archive? I have 2 eQSLs from Germany which are only ones with no "country needed" tag, and can't figure out what's different about them! 73s Adrian G4IQW G4IQW Adrian Langford |

"In your profile, under Advanced Features, you will see a check box that if checked, will do the following:
"Allow me to easily see new countries per mode and band in my Inbox and archive the rest (Note: Your Inbox will load about 2-3 times slower than normal, so we limit your view to 500 instead of 2000. But try it, and if you don't like it, come back here and uncheck the box.)" If you check the box, and you go into your archive and display an eQSL that is not AG, it will indicate in yellow that this country is needed for an award. You may have confirmed the QSO, but until both of you are AG, it will not count for an eAward." You can also do a search for 'yellow' and 'needed' and you should find some help that way. Thanks Andy. That is helpful as I didn't realise it was AG-linked. But I have AG, and some eQSLs from members with similar status still show up as yellow/needed in my archive. Why is that?

I believe the yellow needed indicator is just telling you that QSO is needed for some eAward in your Awards section. I thought it only happened if the other ham was not AG, but I guess there's more to it. I don't really worry about it though. Maybe someone has a better answer.

Yes, it is telling you that the particular eQSL was one you needed for an eAward; a new country, or a new country on a particular band or mode. The first time you get an eQSL that matches the above it will be flagged in yellow, it basically is telling you that you needed that eQSL for an award. Next time you get one that matches the above it won't be flagged, because you don't need it anymore.
