Hi All,
I have just started a 20Mtr CW beacon (plain old CW) on 14.005 MHz with around 2Watts of power into an OCF dipole from my home QTH in Talihina ,OK ,USA . It transmits for 24 seconds the message "DE AB9XC BEACON" and remains off for next 60 seconds and again transmits same . It is under on air testing now and hope to make it a 24/7 affair soon so that stations from accross globe in all time zones can try to listen and send reports. The 20 meter was selected following the WSPR reports for most number of DX contacts on the band on majority of the days. I think it is the best band for DX working.
I request all HAMs and SWLs to listen and kindly send me the reports either by eQSL or via my email ab9xc@yahoo.com. Thanks in advance for your time.
