Hi all,

I am tryin to add my new 2 otter VK call sign VK2NP but the system won't allow two call signs to exist with the same date range , I am still keeping my old VK2CCJ for now.

Any way around this ?

It doesn't allow two accounts for the same callsign to have overlapping dates, but you willd be fine with a different callsign.

The problem is there is already an account in the system for VK2NP, that's what the system is complaining about, it has an end date of 2020.

We can still make it work, if you can tell me when you received the call VK2NP I can adjust the end date on the old account so that it won't interfere with yours.

Hello Dave,

OK thanks according to the ACMA data base I received the VK2NP call on the 5th December , so any date between that and today would be fine actually haven't used it on air as yet

I am keeping my old one at least till VK2CCJ expires in August then I'll decide if I ant both

Ok Cliff, you will be able to register that callsign now.

The best way to do it is via the My Accounts screen, at the bottom you will see where you can register a new, attached account. Change the callsign to be the new one, put in that Dec. 5th date, and press the create new button.
