Hi,

Could someone please take a look at the following bugs in the WAZ submission form http://www.eqsl.cc/qslcard/extWAZStandings.cfm ?

First, some confirmations are getting dropped from the page. For example, on my page:

VO2NS 26-Oct-13 8:53 40M SSB
W7CT 4-Aug-13 2:04 40M CW
VE4VT 29-Mar-14 0:17 15M SSB
W0EA 15-Nov-13 2:41 80M CW

And the list goes on. The dropped confirmations make the WAZ submission too sketchy to use.

Second, the "More..." at the end of each zone looks like it's supposed to be a hyperlink, but is not and does nothing.

Thanks and 73,
- Steve WX2S.

You need to select which entries you want to use for your submission. By default it selects the first it finds in each zone, if you want to use a different one(s) you need to click the checkbox.

"More..." is not a link, just indicates that you have worked more for that zone. You only need to submit one credit for each zone, so no need for it to be a link, it is already displaying the first five it finds.

Dave,

That workaround is unworkable because my logging software is picking QSOs for my WAZ submission that cannot be selected from the webpage. It's a "hybrid" (cards + eQSL) submission, so I need to be able to select any QSLs that I should choose for the submission. I really ought to be able to do that.

It's not a workaround, it's the way it's designed to work.

Not sure what you mean by your logging software is picking the QSOs? You need to pick the QSOs yourself.

Basically you chose which eQSL you want to submit for each zone, if you don't like the default selected, chose one of the others (assuming you have more). If you don't want to use an eQSL for a particular zone, i.e. you want to use a paper card instead, just unclick it.

Then, because it is going to be a mixed application, you need to contact the CQ Award manager for WAZ and tell him what you are doing before you press the submit button. That way he will know to expect your paper cards as well as the eQSLs submitted by the form.

There have been many, many WAZ awards approved using the above method.

Sorry to disappoint you, but DXlab will automatically assemble a WAZ submission without problems. However, because of the bugs in the web submission page, the power of this feature is lost.

I'm already in contact with my card checker and the new WAZ coordinator.

I guess you won't be fixing the WAZ submission page.

You are not disappointing me.

Just because the interface doesn't work the way you think it should doesn't mean it has bugs. It works the way it was designed to by Dave, N5UP and Floyd, N5FG (previous WAZ manager)
