Hi, I'm new to replying to SWL here on eQSL. Just got a report, and it just included a date and time, but not the callsign of the station I worked. Usually when I get printed cards, missing these details I ignore (return) the card. What is the procedure here? 73 Seli TF3AO

He should indicate in the comments section of the card who he heard you work so you can check your log and make sure you actually worked that station.

I reject eQSLs from SWLs that do not have that information, with a note explaining why I am rejecting it.

Thanks for replying Dave.
Have been in contact with the SWLer by e-mail, and he got the details correct, but failed to write in. He's modifying according to his info, and when he got it correct, I'll confirm. So my opinion is, he will do it correct next time, so he will get an instant confirmation.

Hi,
I am looking since long time to find a logging software that exports in ADI file my reception reports.
Finally I found a fast an easy one called Fast Long Entry (by DF3CB).

Now the trouble is that the field <COMMENT> is not imported into the eQSL from the uploaded ADI file. As you have just written this is for us SWL the most important fill in field: without it I cannot give you all details of your QSO either give proof of the reception.

Would it be possible to change this? otherwise without internet connection I have always to write for two times same things one in any log book (excel or whatever) and than as soon as connected to web open my log book and re-write everything in eQSL.

Thanks for answering.

The ADIF field you need to use to add a message to your eQSLs is QSLMSG, not COMMENT.

See: http://www.eqsl.cc/qslcard/ADIFContentSpecs.cfm

thanks Dave, in the mentioned program there's not a field called QSLMSG...but I can edit the file with wordpad and change all the "<COMMENT:...............> into <QSLMSG........> and save again the file.........let's see if it works.

paradox of SWL:

one QSO for example EW1GR-ZZ9ZZZ

SWL send to EW1GR -> I watched QSO EW1GR-ZZ9ZZZ bla-bla-bla
SWL send to ZZ9ZZZ -> I watched QSO ZZ9ZZZ-EW1GR bla-bla-bla

result:

I have QSO with the SWL stantion ))))... SWL have TWO QSO - EW1GR and ZZ9ZZZ

@Create reciprocal eQSL for ***** QSO@
"reciprocal" not SWL

sri fer my engl ;)

it is not a paradox

If SWL listens both the stations he sends reports to both the stations.
Are you happy to get the report from the SWL?
Why the SWL should not make happy also ZZ9ZZZ?

Where is the mistake?

The task of SWLs is to listen to stations: if I listen a voice QSO in SSB between 5 hams and i listen all of them for 1 QSO i can send 5 QSLS

if ZZ0ZZ is registered as SWL his eQSL it is not valid as a 2 way QSO...is this the question?
I don't know if 1 call sign can subscribe eQSL as a HAM and as an SWL both, there should not be any reason to do this. I know there are many hams that are using their call signs only for SWLing because they do not transmit but they subscribe here as SWL only
