I methodically upload to eQSL at the same time as LoTW, Clublog and QRZ.com, but kind of curious as to what happens afterwards at eQSL....

Sure, I know there's a log book that seems to list THOUSANDS of contacts but to be honest I've not got the time or inclination to go through a whole bunch of confirmations. Is just uploading, and that's it, OK, or 'am I wasting my time...

I just use eQSL for the benefit of others (not me) that might like to collect things for awards or whatever. What happens to SWL reports for example, are they automatically matched against contacts in my log?

Any comments appreciated.

All of the contacts you upload are automatically matched against contacts in your inbox. You will see that if you go to your inbox, any contacts there that have the option to confirm/reject are ones that do not match a contact that you have uploaded. Typically they should be rejected.

SWL reports are different, because they are telling you in the comments field who they heard you work, system cannot do the match automatically. If you want to acknowledge that SWL report, you need to manually confirm it.
