When I tried to upload my QSOs from my RumLogNG logging program, like I usually do about once a week, I received an error message that said "The certificate for this server is invalid." What does this mean? I should mention that I am using a Mac computer with the latest OSX 10.11.2 and my browser is Chrome.

Hi

For now do not use https://www.eqsl.cc, instead use http://www.eqsl.cc.

The webmaster is aware and the renewal process is under way

As soon as we get confirmation from the webmaster, I will post here.

The thing is... RUMlog just doesn't upload or download logs from eQSL... no option to ignore the invalid cert. Anyway, hope the new cert will be in place soon.

RumLog still cannot access eQSL because of an invalid certificate and there is no indication of when it might change. This is starting to get a little bit annoying!

Does Rumlog have the ability to export an ADIF file? If so you could export as ADIF then upload the ADIF.

Yes, I have been using adif files but it's not as convenient as what I was used to where a single click in RumLog would take care of everything automatically.

Ok, well good to know that at least you have a short term solution.

It will get done as soon as the webmaster has time to do it, he works here on a volunteer basis just like everyone else that works here, and is bogged down with other projects at the moment.

It's not just RumLog. I'm sure it's any logging program that uploads to eQSL. I use Aether on the Mac and I get the same error. After doing a lot of QSOs that also use eQSL I'v had to export my logs to ADIF and upload them manually. It's a pain, but it's a short-term solution for now.

I just hope the webmaster updates the certificate soon.

Most logging programs do not have the problem, only the ones that connect via https.

The vast majority of logging programs connect via http.

I want to join in on urging eqsl to take this problem seriously. It is a real inconvenience for RUMLOG users. Please fix soon--thanks.

Same here - letting a certificate expire is sloppy, not fixing the situation fast is bad service. Mind you that you are a *commercial* service.

It seems RUMLog users figured how to (temporarily) fix this. http://dl2rum.de/forum/viewtopic.php?f=10&t=815

Andrew from Aether Log found this and posted it on his blog for his logging app.

Is there any ETA for update to SSL certificate? This breaks a lot of logging software. Thanks.
