Two accounts with identical QTH - how on earth did this happen, you could ask?

Well, it's my fault! Utter misunderstanding on my side how eQSL accounts work:

I assumed I have to create a new attached account when I change my eQSL design. So I got two accounts: "HomeQTH" and a new one "HomeQTH2" with identical QTH but different start/end times ("HomeQTH" = period before, "HomeQTH2" = period after eQSL design changed).

Later I had to learn this idea wasn't clever. When applicating for eQSL awards the manager complained about my odd account construction.

So I went to undo my work, I tried to change start/end times of my accounts, but I failed: They could not be altered afterwards.

My plan then was to kill the second account and merge its outbox into the first account.

So I backup'd the outbox of the second account, deleted it, and expected being able to erase this account. But that didn't work: Confirmed (retrieved) eQSLs aren't allowed to be deleted from the outbox.

So I have no more ideas how to fix this trouble. Any hints appreciated!

Hi Rolph

The way you had the accounts would have worked, but I can see how it would flag up and alert the award managers.

I have changed the original account to show it was only open for 1 minute and started the HomeQTH2 account right back from the beginning (2 minutes in). The reason I didn't remove one was because you have awards on both accounts..

The HomeQTH2 is still the primary account and this one will handle all incoming eQSL's back to the date you registered; it might be an idea to rename it Home and the other account Old

Just remember, to only apply for awards using this account; multiple accounts always flag up to the award managers

Take a look, any problems, please get back to me..
