Hi Valdas,
IMHO, nothing, if you click on "notify", you get the answer :
"Sorry but QRZ.com no longer provides email addresses without logging in"
though I am already logged in....
Maybe a regular QRZ.com subscriber would get another answer ? *
If it has no use, why not simply remove it ?
This question has already been asked in january :"Error when sending"notify" from "
?????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????
Knock, knock..........* Hey, admins...........
add. : -A greyed call sign and "notify" below means that your correspondant is NOT or no longer a registered EQSL user
-In 2005, this link opened a box, the E-mail adress was fetched from QRZ.com (?), you just had to click "OK" to send this message :
Hello (Callsign),
I have sent you an electronic QSL card.
You can pick it up by going to
http://www.eQSL.ccAs soon as you register, you can display and print my eQSL
and the other xxx eQSLs waiting for you there.
73,
F6DKQ
Then it no longer worked, you had to manually fill the E-mail adress box, but you could still send this same message.
Same thing when you search for a non-member callsign and you click on "see if cards waiting, then on "Notify <callsign> that he has cards waiting!"
=> "500 - Internal server error."
CT1EKD, support volunteer, answered me :
"Yes you're right, eqsl is no longer able to connect qrz.com. The QRZ.com is refusing our connection."
