Recently started using WSJT and have made hundreds of FT8 contacts.

The FAQ says to upload the file, but it keeps getting bigger. Do I upload the whole file and let the program sort out the duplicates or should I edit the file and just upload the new contacts?

Also what is a simple file editor that would let me add in the occasional SSB or CW contact?

Hope these questions aren't too dumb. I'm just getting started again after years of inactivity. Thanks.

There are no dumb questions...
If you can , just upload your new QSO's. The system rejects dupes but it is an useless load.

The best solution is to use a real-time uploading, with a logger linked to your digital software (UDP/TCP)
We don't support or recommend any of them, look at the list :

But if you want to edit your adif file, there is a good tool : adifmaster (dxshell)
You can delete records, add/edit/insert QSO's
