RE: FST4 to Online Logs.

A) Created a dummy QSO ADIF record with "<MODE:4>FST4" ...AND... was accepted by LOTW, QRZ & ClubLog, BUT WAS REJECTED by eQSL !

B) Then I created another QSO ADIF record with "<MODE;4>MFSK<SUBMODE:4>FST4" and WAS ACCEPTED by ALL 4 !!!

FST4 is not a mode and therefore will not be accepted by eQSL

I realize this although FT4 was added in the past.

I was merely offering that the others (Clublog, LOTW, & QRZ) do accept FST4 as a mode. FST4 does work, as I if it is entered as a SUBMODE of MFSK.

It's still under discussion, the most recent adif specs are : (Released ADIF Version 3.1.1, updated 2020/09/02)

You know, as usual, eqsl will conform to the most recent adif specifications

Not yet voted ? but it seems that the majority of the adif committee members will vote for mode MFSK, submode FST4 ???

I tried it myself, with an adif test upload (FST4 is not available with a a manual entry)

mode : MFSK, submode FST4

in my outbox, I found : AM (FST4) !!!!!!!


In a second attempt, it worked : MFSK|FST4

Then I tried MFSK|MYMODE and it worked also !!!!!!!

.................better wait until it is really implemented
