I screwed up when I joined and uploaded my log out of LOGic8. Logic sent QSO's from my original callsign as well as my present callsign underwhich I joined eQSL. My old callsign QSO dates predate my start date for this account.

How do I purge the unwanted data from my present account and get it into another account under my old callsign? Thanks!

How many QSO's do you have to delete?

You can go into your LOG/OUTBOX click on ENTIRE and then at the bottom of the page is DELETE A GROUP OF LOG ENTRIES. Click on that and then enter the date range of QSO's that you want deleted.

To set up a new account - link it to your new account under the MY PROFILE icon and click on MY OTHER ACCOUNTS. This will take you to a page where you can set up an account for an earlier callsign. At the bottom of this page is REGISTER A NEW ATTACHED ACCOUNT.

I have done this OK but you will need to go back into this page to toggle between the two accounts as you use the two accounts. It would be nice if there was direct icon to toggle between linked accounts

Let me know if you have any other questions.

When you have created the new attached account. Make sure that you are in the correct account - (the MY ACCOUNTS page has buttons to log into each account) and upload the correct QSO's into the relevant account.

If you weed to do simple editing then QSO's can be deleted individually from the LOG/OUT box.

QSO's appearing in grey have been confirmed by the other station and should not be editied.

Thanks for being here. I will let you know how it al works out.

Good luck - you could probably delete all the QSO's by entering a wide date range and then start again with an empty logbook. You can confirm that the LOG/OUTBOX is empty and that all QSO's have been deleted by looking inside it.

I'll see what I can do. I am trying to delete just the wrong ones at this time. I'll save total annihilation for a last resort. Thanks.

You can go into your LOG/OUTBOX and pick away at them (delete) individually if need be as well

OK...I had to delete all records, then create an ateched account. I uploaded my qso's into my old callsign's account and it worked fine.

Now when I log into my main account and try to upload my qso's I get an error statement. Just to let you know I deselect the "only send unmarked qso's" box in Logic 8 before trying to upload. The error box says this:

The error occurred in D:\www\eQSL\Htdocs\qslcard\importADIF.cfm: line 491

Any clues you can give me?

Can you use your software to create and ADIF file - it has an extension .adi and save it to your hardrive. You can then view this file with notepad or wordpad because it is a text file.

We can then look at the file and if it looks good then upload that file into eQSL

I know what the ADIF file should look like because I create mine manually using excel.

Did Logic8 or eQSL throw up those error messages?

I believe Logic gave the error message. How do you want to look at the file? I have saved it to my desktop.

You could try uploading the file to eQSL and see where it splutters - make a note of the error messages and then we can see where we need to fix the file.

It may be problems with ADIF fields that eQSL ignores anyway and the file may upload fine.

Mark,

I sent a few emails to your qrz account...Look for them there and we can carry on off forum and then I can post a resolution here once we fix my problem.
