While I understand the long debates on LOTW v eQSL etc. and I know the history for sure of trying hard to get eQSL accepted by ARRL, I would like to propose an interesting thought that might stimulate eQSL growth/usage and acceptance and potentially LOTW too. LOTW as all are aware is cumbersome to input, for eQSL my logging program handles auto updates real time, for LOTW, I export, sign, upload or email... wait... etc. At best once or twice a month I update LOTW.
So, could eQSL provide a mechanism to upload and store my ARRL certificate (store as a blob in the db or such), then batch process updates to eQSL once a day or so to ARRL, yes we would have to store our signing password in eQSL too.
Now eQSL brokers LOTW automatically, maybe a silver or gold goodie :-)
Thanks for listenting... 73'

Sounds like a great idea Steven. However, I think there may be some sort of copyright issue in that the certificates belong to TrustedQSL and/or the ARRL. They may have issues with another service storing them. I hope I'm wrong though and that something like this could be worked out between the two services. One could be used for confirming a QSO (LOTW), the other for producing an eQSL card for the confirmed QSO. 73!
