At 01 may i've worked DS1JFY, new country for me, i'm waited for one month and over. This morning DS1JFY finally logged on eqsl.cc: "no new eqsl waiting", but none for me!

LOTW system is better, no qsl for me, no qsl for you: i consider really to change once and for all!

Why eqsl.cc do not change this bad policy?

Hi Cosimo,

I have had many such cases, where the Eqsl was retrieved without any confirmation for me.

I remember a qso with HL0B. I sent them (club-station) my EQSL twice, first time retrieved, nothing in return...
After that, I sent them a second EQSL differing by one or two minutes, along with an email asking for a confirmation, with a picture of their paper card, hand-written, signed by the operator ! => Same thing !

Like you, I say "No, something MUST be done to prevent someone of retrieving an EQSL without CONFIRMING".

LOTW better ???? don't think so...hi , I use both LOTW and EQSL and there are also irritating things in LOTW.

. double blind system ??? I'd rather reject an EQSL because the time or the band is wrong and give the other ham a chance to correct his log.

. Re-register and send again all my papers if I lose my password ???? no way !.............

Another point : "no new eqsl waiting" does not mean the other ham has retrieved his EQSL's, they may have been all transfered to his archive just as they are, confirmed or not.
Check if the QSO is greyed in your outbox !

Ok, let me see if I have this correct........
If I'm an AG member or just a Regular member, and I don't upload any logs or QSO's, do you mean I can still get and archive eQSLs that others have uploaded without confirming or rejecting those contacts? If that is so, then I agree with both of you. You should not be able to archive eQSLs without uploading your log or confirming a QSO. I hope the admin folks for this site will consider changing this. It is the same as all those Hams who get paper QSLs and don't send one back.

Hi Orest, this is the method on LOTW: No QSL until the system match all two database records.

You send your log with my qsl record, I don't send anything.

When I interrogate LOTW, I don't find your qsl for me! :)

IMHO this is the best method.

With photoshop, you have the possibility to make a nice DS1JFY QSL.
which will have the same value for the DXCC.
