What, me worry?

Posted: Aug 18, 2008 06:28 AM          Msg. 1 of 5
Greetings,

This is my first attempts at uploading an ADIF file. Things seem to be going ok until I get the following error message:

# Your Location: 72.161.83.70
# Page You Came From: http://eqsl.cc/QSLCard/uploadfile.cfm
# Error Page: /QSLCard/UploadFile.cfm
# Error Message:MONTH null
The error occurred on line 352.

I've tried looking at the QSO following the last one uploaded and I can see no problem with the month. Other than that, I'm at a loss as to what to look for. Any suggestions?

Thanks,
Mark

Mark,
I suggest you give this info to the 'Help!' link above. You'll probably get a faster answer to the problem. Can you copy/paste a couple of the entries in the ADIF file you are trying to upload? Maybe someone will see what the issue is.
Good Luck and 73!
Andy

Hi Andy, I was actually successful in uploading a major part of the log. Some 2000 plus qso's. I could not see anything wrong with the entry that stopped the process, but of course it was late and my eyes were a bit blurry.
I've taken your advice and sent the issue to the Help guys. Once it is resolved, I'll post the outcome here so others might learn from my mistake, what ever it is.
Thanks and 73!
Mark

Andy, now that I am wide awake I have been able to locate the problem. It seems that, for what ever reason, I had the date, of the bad log entry, as 29 Feb 2006. However, 2006 not being a leap year, February only had 28 days. After removing the offending QSO the rest of th log loaded with no problem.

73!
Mark

Glad you found it Mark! It's always something simple that's a bear to find even when it's staring you right in your face.
