After I retrieve my incoming QSL's, I click on "Check All".

Does that automatically _confirm_ all the incoming QSL's, back to their originators?

Or do I have to click on the "check" button next to each one, and go through the "Confirm eQSL" form for each contact?

I'm sure this has been asked and answered before, many times . . . .

Thanks --

Charles

Hi Charles,

About your incoming qsl's :

-either you have a green and a red button at the end of the line, in this case you have to confirm or reject each EQSL, one by one, manually

-or you have nothing at the end of the line : it means that the incoming EQSL matches one of yours, in your outbox, then it's already confirmed.

"Checking" the EQSL's has no other effect than select them ???...

You can click first on "check all confirmed" then "move checked eqsls to archive", the rest in your inbox will be the unconfirmed EQSLs.

If you click on "check all" then "move to archive", probably a lot of incoming EQSL will remain unanswered, lost in the middle of your archive.

Everything you transfer from your inbox to your archive is unchanged, confirmed or not confirmed.

!!!!! : if you retreive an unconfirmed EQSL ("DISPLAY" button), it will go automatically to your archive. Chances are that the poor fellow ham will never get a reply. This is not a nice feature
in the EQSL system, imho...

Yes once you look at a QSL by using the DISPLAY button it is automatically sent to the archive area. I make a practice of dealing with each card when I view it in the INBOX. If you don't then as Guy says, you can have cards sitting in your ARCHIVE which you have never returned to the sending station. It would be nice if cards were sent to the ARCHIVE only by checking a box and not by the default of viewing the QSL card.
