Because I am new user of the eQSL.CC I ave a question about the sending away of an eQSL .
In the MixW there is a possibilty to send E QSL after ending a QSO with some one . Then I see that the eQSL is in my Outbox . But ... is it then sent away really or are there more things to do ? I would be very happy if any-one can advice me . Stef .. pa0sjm

Stef,
Welcome to eQSL!
As soon as you upload your QSO, it goes into your OutBox and waits for the other ham to confirm the QSO with his or her upload. If the confirmation QSO comes, you will get a notification that your InBox has a new eQSL waiting for you. My confirmation rate is about 20 % which means that for every 5 QSOs in my outbox, I get one confirming QSO in my InBox that generates an eQSL.
Hope this helps a little. How can you be a new user, it says you joined in 2003?

dr Andy , thank you vy much for reaction . For what you say that I was user from 2003 , I must confess that I did not like this e qsl-ing , hi . So I never used it and always sent real paper cards . Oldfashioned ? I don't think , because I believe that many hams send this e qsl as an automatism .. ( if I say this correct , hi ) . Now I have shoeboxes filled with cards , hi .
So the answer is that all the " cards " which are in the OUT BOX has been sent and I have no more to do with them ... only the recipient can accept them .
For your info ... I am 68 now , ham since 1973 . Played in the early years with dump sets from the army ( american and english ) and so for instance , now I have a perfect working an/grc 9 .
Made also a HF transceiver , that was 1979 and the set works on 3 bands with max. output of 12 watts on 80 . So I made also a PA with 2 television tubes , PL519 and that was good for abt 125 Watts .
Now I use a Yaesy FT 757 after some other sets . Work many times with PSK 31 and CW . So ... that was little info , hi .

You are welcome Stef. Glad to see that you are now using eQSL. Spred the word about eQSL to your fellow hams so they can see how easy it is and the fun of getting eQSLs in your InBox.
I am 63 and been a ham since 1972. Now using ft-847, fc-20 Auto tuner into g5rvjr in attic of house. Good luck on the air and the best to you and yours!

IOANNIS,
In your profile, under Advanced Features, you will see a check box that if checked, will do the following:

"Allow me to easily see new countries per mode and band in my Inbox and archive the rest
(Note: Your Inbox will load about 2-3 times slower than normal, so we limit your view to 500 instead of 2000. But try it, and if you don't like it, come back here and uncheck the box.)"

If you check the box, and you go into your archive and display an eQSL that is not AG, it will indicate in yellow that this country is needed for an award. You may have confirmed the QSO, but until both of you are AG, it will not count for an eAward.
I hope this helps.

Allways nice to be helped by others with knowledge , hi . But there is a little other problem which I have .. hi . In My Profile I try to change the qth end date ( 2011 ) into 2020 . Because I hope to be in the air in 2017 or so still , hi . But when I click on SAVE there is a warning coming up and that is saying something about .... Fault occured . Error message : Element County is undefined in Form ....
I understand a little abt counties and so , but we in Hollland do not have counties , hi . t is too smaal for that .
So the question remains ... how can I simply change tteh qth end date ? Or , perhaps .. it is not so important to worry about it ?
Thank you agn for your help ..
greetings and congrats with new president Obama .
