Is there a single document that explains how to use eQSL. I just started to use it and have never done any logging on line so I need the basics.

Also, I can't seem to get my logs loaded directly form DM780. Am I doing something wrong, or does eQSL not accept DM780 logs?

Thanks

Hey Richard,
Nice to see you here from Open Roads Radio! Glad to see you're trying this out. I'll try to help.
If you go under the eQSL.cc drop-down and hit 'Articles and White Papers' you will see something called eQSL presentation. Maybe that will start you off. I think there is also a getting started forum. I'll look for it later. Make sure you don't upload more than 1000 records at a time and make sure thy are in ADIF format. (check the link for uploading and adif) I use N3FJP's ACLog and that works fine right from the log. Not sure about DM780. Maybe someone else does. Let me know if this helps.

Thanks Andy, and are you on the road? I'm stuck at home with the rig in the shop. It's been there for 6 weeks and I am pushing my luck planning a Christmas trip. Hi Hi.

I'll check your recommendations. As I said in the original post, not having done any logging at all leaves me in the dark on the nomenclature and protocals that seem fundamental to electronic logging, Well, we are here to learn.

Richard,
There's also a YaHoo Group called OnLineQSL that you may want to join. Also, if you want, you can always just use the manual logger in eQSL to do one by one.
I'm not on the road any more since we traded in our Crossroads Zinger for a seasonal Park Model in Freedom, NH. Hope you get your rig back soon so you can go out again. Up here we're hunkerin' down for winter. Have a great Christmas and New Year!
