I got my Irish callsign EI7JZ a few days ago. I want to attach this callsign to my OE6CLD account to share the gold status I have there. As far as I understand the concept behind the attached accounts, all my eQSL's from both callsigns will be counted together for all awards. Operating from two different DXCC countries this is not what I want.

I would like to share my gold status for both callsigns but they should count separately for all awards.

Is there something I misunderstand or what is the best way to proceed?

Claus,
According to eQSL:
"When you *attach* accounts to each other, they will still maintain separate logs, separate eQSL designs, and their own separate QTH information. "
Since your calls are from two different DX entities, I don't believe the QSOs from both calls will be counted for the same eAwards. In the USA, because we are in the same DX entity, our attached accounts (as long as they are in the USA) all count for eDX and other awards. If one of our accounts is in another state, it will not count for the same eWAS award.
So, I think you will be OK with your two calls.
Hope this helps, 73!
