If I archive a batch of eqsls in my inbox (using "select all" and "move to archive"), are they automatically confirmed?

Douglas,
If you have a matching QSO record in your OutBox, they are automatically confirmed. However, if some entries in your InBox contain Confirm Or Reject buttons, they do not automatically confirm when you move them to your archive. They will go to your archive and you won't see them in your InBox, but they won't be confirmed. You need to check your log and if you can honestly confirm them, you must do them one at a time.

On 01/27/2010 I got an eQSL from Spain. I had no matching QSO in my OutBox, so the InBox had confirm and reject buttons attached as expected. I viewed the eQSL and was going to verify my log for the QSO before either confirming it or rejecting it. After I viewed it I DID NOT archive it, I didn't confirm or reject it. I just went to my outbox to verify. When I returned to my InBox, it was gone. I found it in my Archive with the confirm and reject buttons still there.
My question/issue is that you should not be able to archive an unconfirmed or unrejected QSO. It should remain in your InBox until you either reject it or confirm it.
Hope someone can explain this for me.

I think that once you click on DISPLAY and view the QSL card it will automatically be sent to the Archive. Don't DISPLAY the card until you are ready to deal with it. That way it will stay in your In Box.

I can see that now Mark, but why have an archive button? There should be a notice that says 'If you display, you will archive'. It's just one of those little things that Dave N5UP needs to address (when he finds time).
Thanks for the reply Mark.
