If I list my archived cards, many of them have the country column in yellow with "Needed" in it. This despite me having uploaded a card and the other amateur having responded.

Can someone please put me straight on what it means and what I must do to get rid of it?

This is not an answer, just a confirmation that someone else has the same question (me)! It would be great to hear an explanation.

Sounds like nobody know what is it...? I posted it a couple weeks ago and no help so far...strange I have already confirmed 43 countries and most of them has (needed)! Is anybody here who has any clue about that?

Mariusz,
I posted this a while back as a reply to a similar question:

"In your profile, under Advanced Features, you will see a check box that if checked, will do the following:

"Allow me to easily see new countries per mode and band in my Inbox and archive the rest
(Note: Your Inbox will load about 2-3 times slower than normal, so we limit your view to 500 instead of 2000. But try it, and if you don't like it, come back here and uncheck the box.)"

If you check the box, and you go into your archive and display an eQSL that is not AG, it will indicate in yellow that this country is needed for an award. You may have confirmed the QSO, but until both of you are AG, it will not count for an eAward."

You can also do a search for 'yellow' and 'needed' and you should find some help that way. I used the dates of 10/10/2007 and 11/11/2009.

I hope this helps.

Thanks Andy for your help! I have checked this option already, and I understand that for eAward the user has to be AG. The problem is that even user is AG I still have a lot of them flagged "yellow needed". I have so far 37 confirmed and AG, looks like I have to have at least two AG confirmations from each country, this is wrong, a bug? Could you explain this?

This is an example:
Callsign Date/Time Band Mode Country AG Signal Report and Comments Actions
FP/KV1J 08Nov2009 19:47 20M SSB ST. PIERRE AND MIQUELON (Needed) Y 59

Thanks
Mariusz

Yeah Mariusz, I see the same thing and I don't have an answer for it. You only need one AG per country, maybe it's for some future eAward like eDX100 per band or it may mean don't delete it from your OutBox because you need it for an award? I don't think it's very important unles the other ham is not AG. Hopefully one of the moderators will chime in with a good answer. Have you tried the YaHoo group 'electronicQSL'? There may be some info there.
