Could there be a E-mail notification system implemented to E-mail those who have 100 or so Eqsl cards waiting , seems i run into many many hams that have 100's or 1000's of cards waiting but yet they have not loged in for months. Or maybe if they dont log in after a certain amount of time there accound gets put on hold or something? there needs to be something to encourage people to log in and answer waiting cards.

Tim,
When you look to see if there are cards waiting and you get the list of eQSLs waiting, scroll down to the bottom and you will see a link that says: 'Notify (call) that he has cards waiting!' You can use that link to notify the ham. Unfortunately, the email address is supplied by QRZ.com and is not always automatically there so you have to manually look it up on QRZ.com. The email addresses used to come up automatically, but since QRZ.com changed it's format, that doesn't work. I wish the eQSL folks would fix that or use the emails provided by the registered users. And you're right, the notification should be automatic after a ham has say 100 eQSLs waiting.

but do you think that someone who has hundreds or even thousands of cards waiting is going to confirm them ? or are they just going to archive them , then u dont get credit for the contact. i guess i just dont see the point of having a account here at eqsl if you are not going to participate..

Tim, you could email n0kbd(at)arrl.net and let him know. He also uses LOTW. I agree that if you're not going to participate, don't bother registering.
