Can eQSL cards be printed and applied to ARRL awards such as 5BWAS?

It would be nice if they did, but I think if you asked the ARRL awards section, you'll be disappointed. ARRL has it's own LOTW QSO confirmation web site, but it doesn't provide picture QSLs like eQSL does. So who needs ARRL awards that cost money for the certificates? CQ does accept eQSLs for it's awards. 73 Andy - n1ork

Andy, thanks for all your time and energy in the forums! In line with this discussion I'd be interested in hearing the eQSL position on accepting LOTW confirmed contacts? Since LOTW membership is an acceptable method of verifying our legitimacy, it would seem to be the next step to accept the confirmations. I can see a potential problem if the contacted station is not a member of eQSL (with no qsl or station information to show), but it would be nice to receive recognition at least toward one of the eQSL awards.

Thanks Gordon! I try to answer what and help where I can. Yes it would be great to be able to use LOTW confirmations for eQSL eAwards. Is there a way to download a 'confirmed' file from LOTW? I know you can download your own log. Since I am just a member here and not a programmer, I have no idea what it would take to be able to accomplish this to work with eQSL. Maybe if Dave N5UP (site webmaster) reads this, he may have some ideas on this. So, as I understand it, if you have WAS in LOTW, you should be able to somehow transfer this and get eWAS from eQSL. Hope we can generate some interest in this. 73 Andy - n1ork
