Why does the certificate just say 50 states and not 50 states of the USA? There are other countries with States, not just the USA. VK5NE Paul Roehrs

I have now collected eQSLs for 50 states and over 290 counties in less than two years from VK without actually chasing any individual counties. I believe there is an award for 500 confirmed counties so maybe I might get there and so might you. VK5NE Paul Roehrs

Please put "Update your membership to AG" in the main menu. Why? Because DX operators who upload to eQSL non AG, upload to LOTW and then send a log to their QSL manager don't have the time to go hunting around the eQSL website to find out how to become AG. They need it staring them in the face. I have worked many DX stations who confrim LOTW and also eQSL non AG. When I contact them they say that it is too much bother to gain AG status as they dont't know exactly how to do it. Maybe they think it is just as hard as all the unecessary rubbish you have to go through to join LOTW. VK5NE Paul Roehrs

The best way to get a flood of new eQSL members would be to sponser a few DXpeditions. QSL info for them will be "eQSL only, No LOTW and for reasons of authenticity direct cards will only be given to stations with eQSL (AG) with an IRC or sufficient green stamps to cover postage." DXpeditions which state "no eQSL" really annoy me. VK5NE Paul Roehrs |
