I suspect the North Dakota problem causes many hams to just ignore eqsl. WAS is an impossible award as there are NO active eqsl hams in ND.

Someone will say its not true, but I am QRV on all bands/modes and have been trying to get a QSO by hard work and begging for a sched but to no avail.

Try a different award. Until eQsl accepts paper cards like LOTW does, it cant be done.

I'm now convinced there are ZERO hams in North Dakota that use EQSL. I'v been trying for 6 months. I have looked up almost every ham in ND on qrzed and cant find a single one that claims to upload here.

It stinks, because I have worked ND dozens of times and have plenty of paper to prove it, but the eWAS is an impossible award if there are no participating hams there. It's easier to work Yemen than ND.

Still confused by yellow "needed" box. Someone told me that it only shows up if you need a country. I have DOZENS of yellow "needed"s that are all confirmed both ways, all from the same country, band and mode. It seems completely random.

I could have 2 inbox QSOs from Texas, both on 20 meters PSK and one will show needed and the other wont. Same for DX, multiple contacts confirmed from Spain on 40m PSK, some say needed, some dont. Multiple confirmed 20 meter SSB to Italy, some show needed, others dont.

Can someone explain to me EXACTLY what the system determines is a NEEDED contact? And should it even show needed if its been confirmed both ways already? How do I make it no longer NEEDED?
