I have a similar problem as K4DGW above. I recently became active in ham radio again after years of absence. I decided to get vanity call sign and selected AC8R. When I registered, I found another person had already registered with this call in 2007. At the moment this hasn't affected any eQSL's. However, if I try to change my QTH nickname, I get the following message:
**** ERROR! You already have a QTH nicknamed in OH Stark USA starting 01-Jul-2007 00:00 and ending 31-Dec-2020 00:00
You cannot have overlapping Start and End dates for any accounts with the same identical callsign AC8R Otherwise we will not know where to deposit incoming eQSLs. ****
I used the start and end dates on my license. 11-13-2009 and 11-13-2019. Any suggestions?
